Complete and udder sadness

I woke today in decent spirits. I was worried about getting supplies for new maternity designs. Now after seeing the news and the current happenings in Connecticut, my heart is completely broken. As a mother I can't fathom how someone could possibly do such a devastating thing. For a 24 year old to walk in to a school, an elementary school and start shooting makes me want to home school my kids.

My deepest sympathies to the victims and their families.

Craft show.

So today I did a craft show. I'm actually sitting here at it bored out of my mind. It's a little show with mostly older ladies shopping. Not exactly my clientele but I've hand out a lot of cards. Advertising is advertising I guess.

Busy busy Button.

Custom Anti-Venom Newborn Diaper.

Things here in the studio have been super busy. Theres been lots of diaper making, costume making and ball gown designing. I like variety what can I say.  I recently switched store venues, While I still have my Etsy. I've opened a Store Envy. It allows a bit more personalization and control. the only downside is that I have to do a lot more self promoting and tweeting to get stockings and listing seen. My Pages are all getting a fall/winter make over with a redesigned logo, banner and linkies. THe banner above was designs and created by me. its simple but I love it and it will be super easy for me to edit and tweak in the future. This banner was made to fit my facebook and my new Store. I am doing a giveaway on Facebook right now in celebration on my 300th fan. Hope on over and check it out.

Sewing Mad Woman

My studio space is about as good as its going to get at the moment. I'm in need of a much larger desk or 2 and a better way to organize fabric. I had purchased one of those hanging kid clothes weekly organizers and it just doesn't hold all of my fabric. I may need to get like 2 or 3 more or possibly something completely different. If only IKEA wasn't so far away and shipping way to much. I defiantly don't want to pay more on shipping than on the products.

I have managed quite a bit of sewing this week. Mostly thanks to the fella being home and able to help tend to the little one. She's sure a Papa's girl. I digress, I've managed to get at least 6 or 7 things made this week. I've listed what's for sale in the shop so go take a gander. I'm gearing up for Halloween so stay tuns for some fun spooky prints. Im hoping to get a few trick or treat bags made and may get a few Tutu's and Pettiskirts made. New Diapers are getting made and listed weekly so if your interested check back in a few days to see when they will hit the store.

Baby dolls and such.

My little Venom has become obsessed with baby dolls. She has one she carries everywhere. She recently got it only outfit dirty meaning that her baby is naked. I decided that her baby need so cute fluff too. This is what I came up with It's made from PUL an fleece scraps that I had hanging about from making diapers. Venom is super pleased with it and I think I need to whip up a few more. After I finish this Halloween skirt I'm making. Im debating if I should just make her a baby doll as well. I'm also tinkering with the Idea of offering these in the shop but only if there's interest in them. Thoughts?

Coming together.

Having just moved, my studio space is still slightly in boxes needing to be unpacked. I'm trying to maximize my organization and figure out a good working flow to the room. This is how it currently looks and hopefully I'll get it looking great. I'll do a proper show off then.
